Hexagon development shortlisted for Housing Award

We are pleased to announce that our Iverhurst Close development has been shortlisted for a British Homes Award in the category of ‘Sustainable Development of the Year’.

Iverhurst Close in Bexley is a development of 11 family homes (1 three-bedroomed home and 10 four-bedroomed houses for shared ownership).

The design of the houses is heavily influenced by ‘The Red House’, a celebrated Arts and Crafts building, designed by Phillip Webb as the home for the designer William Morris. This notable building is located just 5 minutes’ walk from Iverhurst Close.

The homes are designed to achieve zero-carbon standards. The form of the roofs maximise south-facing sloping pitches to enhance PV panel efficiency.  In addition to the PV panels, each home has an Air Source Heat Pump located in the rear gardens which are powered by the PVs and will provide an efficient and sustainable source of heating.

We are really excited about this project and the shortlist status for an award.
