New Tenancy Support

The Community Investment Team provide new tenancy support, a personalised service shaped to meet your needs and offer information, guidance and support to give you the best chance of sustaining your tenancy.

We can provide help with:

  • Checking benefit entitlements and helping you update Universal Credit.
  • Supporting you to manage your household income.
  • Budgeting for new household costs and any unexpected expenses.
  • Support with registering for MyHexagon, which enables you to check your rent account balance, pay rent and report repairs online.
  • Registering or updating Council Tax.
  • Setting up household bills, including help with Thames Water and applying for the WaterHelp discount.
  • Signposting to specialist services for debt advice, if needed.
  • Providing food bank vouchers and/or energy vouchers (dependent on eligibility).
  • Accessing training, volunteering, and employment opportunities.
  • Helping you to connect with local services in your community.
