Hexagon meets residents at Canterbury House and Cornmill House

Hexagon staff recently visited Canterbury House and Cornmill House to meet residents, hear about their experiences and find out what matters most to the local community.

Residents joined us for refreshments and informal conversations, while younger visitors enjoyed face painting and biscuit decorating. The afternoon gave residents an opportunity to tell us what they value about their homes and neighbourhood, as well as where they would like to see improvements.

Many residents spoke positively about their home and community, describing it as friendly, quiet and a good place to live. They also shared helpful feedback about repairs, communal cleaning, security and communication.

Some residents raised individual issues for follow up. We have recorded the feedback and are working with our teams to action. These include following up on outstanding repairs, looking at ways to improve block security and working with the estate’s managing agent on issues affecting communal areas.

Thank you to everyone who stopped to speak with us. Resident feedback helps us understand what is working well and where we need to do better.
