Tackling Antisocial Behaviour (ASB)

In July 2025 after a very long,  difficult journey, Hexagon was able to evict a resident for nuisance/antisocial behaviour (ASB). Whilst eviction is always the last resort, where it is appropriate to do so, Hexagon will be bold in taking this step.

The nuisance/ASB was affecting several neighbours in a block and the impact of the nuisance meant neighbours were unable to peaceably enjoy their homes. The ASB was relentless ranging from pet nuisance, persistent water leaks, violence and aggression, to intimidation and criminal damage.

It was a particularly stressful and emotional period for all neighbours. The court process was often delayed and protracted. However, with sheer determination and consistency after more than a year Hexagon was successful in obtaining a possession order and a warrant for eviction.

Neighbours described feeling a huge sense of relief and hope and for the first time could begin to enjoy a sense of peace and safety again in their homes and enjoyment in their community.
