Surveyor Intern (Stock Improvement) – Salary – £26,936 (London Living Wage) 35 hrs per week -12 month fixed term contract
We are seeking an intern to join our committed Stock Improvement team. Reporting to the Stock Improvement Manager you will gain hands-on experience carrying out surveys, contract procurement and administration, working alongside experienced colleagues and our contracted external surveyors. You will also support administration activities, that keep the stock improvement programme running smoothly.
In addition to good educational attainment (Degree in Building Surveying, Asset Management or related built-environment discipline) our ideal intern will have:
- Clear written and verbal communication; able to engage professionally with residents, colleagues and stakeholders Technical awareness of building systems, construction types and maintenance considerations
- Understanding of asset lifecycles and stock condition principles
- Awareness of property surveying techniques and methodologies
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, mobile devices and systems to accurately collect, record and manage property data
- Good time management skills – able to meet targets and support delivery of KPI-driven services
- Willingness to learn, develop and gain practical surveying experience.
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle for work would be desirable but is not essential.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake a Basic DBS check.

We are seeking an intern to join our Directorate Team. Reporting to the PA to the Chief Executive you will gain hands-on experience providing administrative support to Directors, servicing senior management and Committee meetings, assisting with organising corporate events and assisting with managing internal and external communications. The internship will be reviewed prior to the end of the 12 month contract with the possibility of a permanent position subject to satisfactory performance.
In addition to good educational attainment (Degree in Business Administration or related discipline) our ideal intern will have:
- Work/voluntary experience in admin in an office or similar environment
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel,Sharepoint)
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Good time management skills – able to meet deadlines while working to a high standard of quality and accuracy
- Willingness to continuously develop and learn new skills and knowledge.
- An interest in social housing, public services or community-focused work.

Property Safety Manager Full-time – 35 hours per week – SALARY: £71,320 p.a. Based Sydenham, London SE26 (Hybrid Working – 2 days per week office based)
Reporting to the Head of Property & Building Safety, the Property Safety Manager is a key member of our management team. Leading a multi-disciplinary team, you will develop, champion and lead on all aspects of property safety ensuring full compliance and high standards of professionalism.
A collaborative approach is important for this role as you will be providing advice, support and guidance across the Organisation. With a relevant professional or degree level qualification, you will bring experience of managing all aspects of property safety (gas, fire, water, asbestos and M&E) within social housing or regulatory property environments, delivering compliance programmes with strong knowledge of statutory compliance.
