Helping you Keep Warm

With energy prices continuing to rise and changes to government support, many residents may face challenges managing household energy costs. At Hexagon, we’re here to help, no matter the season.

Energy Vouchers

Eligible households may qualify for energy vouchers to help with costs

Does my household qualify for vouchers?

You may be eligible if you meet the following criteria •On a prepayment (key/card) meter •On benefits (can be working) •In rent arrears or can demonstrate financial hardship

Pocket Power

Pocket Power is a free service that helps people save money by switching to cheaper deals on energy, broadband, and other household bills.

How can Pocket Power help me?

Pocket Power can help residents cut the cost of everyday bills. Through a friendly phone call, their expert team offers one-to-one support to find cheaper deals on energy, broadband, mobile, and other essential services. Customers who switch through Pocket Power save an average of £250 a year on their household bills.
How do I apply for energy vouchers?

To apply please email moneysupport@hexagon.org.uk with your name, address, energy provider and a picture of your prepayment meter showing the balance. A member of the team will then assess your eligibility and get in contact.

Yes, we can apply for vouchers for residents with smart meters.

If you are not on benefits or in rent arrears you can still apply for energy vouchers, providing you fill out a budget form to demonstrate financial difficulty. Please email moneysupport@hexagon.org.uk to receive our budget form.

  • Hexagon can issue up to 6 energy vouchers per year (£49 per voucher) to a household if they meet the  criteria
  • We will only issue 3 vouchers at any one time, so you can apply up to 2 times.
  • Vouchers must be activated within 30 days of issue, failure to do so will mean you cannot apply for anymore vouchers in the future.

Unlike other suppliers, British Gas customers must collect their energy vouchers from the Post Office rather than at a Paypoint.

Hexagon Housing has partnered with Pocket Power to offer an alternative source of help for residents who may not qualify for energy vouchers. Pocket Power provides free, expert advice to help you reduce your household bills and access discounts on energy, broadband, and more. To find out more please email moneysupport@hexagon.org.uk
