A message for our Residents

Hexagon’s approach to responsive repairs is changing.

We know that we need to invest more in improving our properties long term and less on patch repairs. We have therefore taken the difficult decision to put on hold certain repairs that do not present a health and safety risk and could be better undertaken on a planned maintenance basis.

These works will be pulled together into separate planned projects which can then provide better value for money for our residents. We hope to be able to offer local contractors the opportunity to quote for these works. Works which are not of an urgent nor health and safety nature will relate to such jobs as:

  • Roofs that are not leaking
  • Decorative damage
  • Fencing
  • Communal repairs
  • External works
  • Rubbish clearance.
  • Minor improvements

Most normal day to day internal property repairs will not be affected.

Thank you for your understanding whilst we re-set our Repairs service. We will provide further updates in due course.
