Our Money and Employment Coordinator will initially speak with you to understand your current circumstances, support needs, strengths, education, and employment history.
They will book you an appointment with our Senior Employment Advisor who specialises in helping people to achieve their employment goals, identify their transferable skills and access any appropriate training. Our support is aimed at helping you find a job that will last, so that you can look forward to and feel confident about the future.
Our service includes
- Practical support with creating or updating your CV and creating a cover letter
- Help with job application supporting statements
- Interview preparation and coaching including access to a mock interview with an employer
- Jobsearch support including referral to suitable vacancies with our contractors and partners
- Access to training including CPD courses at Level 1 to 3, CSCS, SIA, Math and English, employment workshops
- Work placements
- Access to resources to check you’ll be better off in work
- Support when you are in work for at least 6 months
